This looks like a contentious field but there are two interesting horses here. Second-timer Mercantile was a $2 million purchase at FTFFEB, and has the right connections, and the right moves. He was compromised in his debut at Churchill, but on this track back in February at the sale showed a stride length (SL) that was over 25 feet, and earned a 2-over-Par G2 BreezeFig. Pounce on him. Sneaky gimmick move would be firster How Sweet He Is, who was actually a $59k RNA at the OBSAPR sale, and showed a 23 foot-plus SL for a G2 rating.
Laurel, , Maiden Special, 7 Furlongs
There are six BreezeFigs horses in this one, and five of them have a shot. Sethie Boy and Wheels Up At Noon were both G1 at EASMAY--Sethie Boy was an 8-above Par at 1/8 mile with a 25 foot SL and Wheels Up At Noon showed a 24 foot SL 4-over-Par at 1/4 mile. Both had trouble in their last starts. Chiseled Vision and It Ends Now are firsters who earned G2 status at OBSAPR and EASMAY respectively-Chiseled Vision has only one published work in mid November, but the BreezeFig tells us he was working at least 1/4 mile in May. Watch the board on these two, and Jordan Valley, who threw in a stinker first out and may not be up to his advanced billing.
