Del Mar, Race 6, Maiden Special, 5 1/2 Furlongs

This could be a key race and there are four BreezeFigs-qualified runners, all first-timers, three from Group 1 and one from Group 2. All of them had stride lengths over 24 feet long. Colonel Chick was 11 over Par at 1/8 mile at OBSAPR and Dr. McDreamy was six over Par at the pricier KEEAPR venue--both looked good. One Sock Wonder was two over Par at BARMAR, which is pretty good because that was a good bunch. Caped for Flight, the Group 2 horse, was five over at OBSAPR, but at 1/4 mile, further than Colonol Chick. Look them all over in the paddock and watch the board.
