When our first choice in the Saratoga leg was scratched our “MTO save” Ampersand blew the doors off to score at a generous $5.40. That set up a modest parlay, if you will, with Princess Noor at Del Mar who also won cleverly but paid only $3.40. Such are the vagaries of the pari-mutuel life, but at least we scored out. Otherwise it was a quiet week all around on the BreezeFigs front with three other juveniles breaking their maidens—one on the same Saratoga card and two at Gulfstream. Somewhat similar results were chalked by the 3-year-olds with four winners, one each at Del Mar and Remington and two at Gulfstream. Today’s cards are a bit dicey in stick-out first-timers but we found one and it might be a bargain, see below. Stay safe and good luck!
If you’d like to learn a little more about how we come up with BreezeFigs, take a look at our new website by clicking here: www.biodatatrack.com and click on the tab BreezeFigs at the top of the page. In there you will find a link to a major study of how over 17,000 BreezeFigs horses from the sales 2007 through 2013 have succeeded on the racetrack based on Group and stride length. You can also access that study by clicking this link: www.biodatatrack.com/BreezeFigs-Study.pdf.
Here are Saturday’s Pick:
2-Year-Olds
Prairie Meadows, 4th Race, Maiden Special Weight, 6 Furlongs (Dirt)
She’s the only BreezeFigs filly in here and she’s at a very generous 8-to-1 but Splash Cash could splash some your way based on her eight-over-Par Group 1 performance at OBSAPR where her 25.81 foot stride length (SL) was more than a foot-and-a-half longer than average that day for fillies at a furlong. A logical key and a good straight play as well. Good luck!
