Barbara D. Livingston Dotsy, winner of the Grade 1 Frizette at Aqueduct, was taken out of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies.
LEXINGTON, K.Y. – Dotsy, the Grade 1 Frizette winner, will not run in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies, trainer John Grabowski said Friday.
Dotsy worked a strong half-mile in 48.20 seconds on Wednesday morning over Keeneland’s main track, but Grabowski said, “I didn’t like how she came out of the breeze.”
Grabowski said Dotsy would get some time off and be pointed to a 3-year-old campaign. He was not yet sure where that campaign would begin.
“I just didn’t like how she was moving, that’s all,” Grabowksi said. “I’m very excited going forward with her.”
