Lifetime Dreamer matched the world record for a 2-year-old trotting gelding on a five-eighths-mile track while Wrong Sounds Right won his fourth straight race in the two $25,000 Breeders Crown 2-Year-Old Colt Trot eliminations on Friday night at Eldorado Scioto Downs.
Driven by Yannick Gingras, Lifetime Dreamer worked out a pocket trip behind Presidente (Tim Tetrick) through stations of 27 1/5, 55 4/5 and 1:24 3/5 in the first elimination, then rallied around the pace-setter in the stretch en route to a three lengths victory in 1:52 4/5. Presidente was second over Whateverittakes As (Tony Hall), Top Reacher (Scott Zeron) got fourth and Access Now (Bob McClure) overcame a break on the first turn to get a spot in the final by virtue of having the higher earnings of the two fifth-place finishers from the two eliminations.
"In the last turn, I know Timmy has a nice horse, but I was tracking him and I had a lot of trot behind him," Gingras stated. "The minute I pulled him he went by him pretty easy. He had plenty left. With a trip like this tonight leading into the final, you couldn't ask for anything better."
That time of 1:52 4/5 matched the standard set first by Amigo Volo on November 7, 2019 at Dover Downs and later equaled by Silverstein at Cumberland Run on November 4, 2025.
A son of Ecurie D, Lifetime Dreamer is trained by Ake Svanstedt and co-owned by him along with breeder Brittany Farms and their partners Bruni Racing Team Inc. and Suleyman Yuksel Stable. Lifetime Dreamer has four victories to go with one runner-up and one third-place finish from eight tries, has pocketed $193,000 and paid $6.20 to win.

Mohawk Million champion Wrong Sounds Right (Todd McCarthy) tipped out of the third spot on the opening bend and moved up to get the lead away from Opposition (Andy McCarthy) beyond the 28 1/5 quarter in the other elimination. Once in control, Wrong Sounds Right got to the half in 56 2/5 and the three-quarters in 1:25 before he trotted home in 28 1/5 to win by 2 3/4 lengths in 1:53 1/5. Carbon Fiber (Gingras) was next, followed by Jimdougie Armitage (Ake Svanstedt) and Yankee Boss (Tetrick).
"He was super. That was the first time that I've moved him to the front like that, and he really liked it," McCarthy said. "He finished up really strong."
The victorious Jim Campbell-trained Tactical Landing colt is a homebred for Runthetable Stables. Wrong Sounds Right has a summary of 6-1-0 from eight starts, has earned $598,750 and returned $2.20 to win.
