Bramlage, Farish voted in to Jockey Club Board of Stewards
The members of The Jockey Club have voted in Larry Bramlage and William S. Farish Jr. to the organization’s 10-person Board of Stewards, the organization announced Tuesday.
Bramlage, an orthopedic surgeon, and Farish, a member of the family that owns Lane’s End, will replace owner-breeders Barbara Banke and Michael O’Farrell Jr. on the board of stewards. Stewards serve four-year terms on the board.
Farish previously served as a steward of The Jockey Club from 2015-19 and has been a member of the organization since 1996. His family has been prominent in Thoroughbred breeding and ownership for decades.
Bramlage is a shareholder in Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Ky., and a past president of the American Association of Equine Practitioners. He has been a member of The Jockey Club since 2002.
