Turf is not mare’s preferred surface. Dropped far off pace in second-level allowance turf sprint, modest rally only. Her best race was her dirt win in January, follow when returns to main track.

Comeback mare crushed small field in G3 turf mile. Made lead easily, set slow pace, her fastest quarter-mile was her final quarter in 23.37. Five-year-old turf mare poised for a big campaign.

Four-year-old first-time starter broke slowly in Cal-bred turf sprint, recovered to race midfield, angled out for drive, finished evenly in useful debut prep. Grazen gelding can improve next out.
