Claiming turf mare lacked speed from rail in sprint, jumped at dirt crossing, angled out for drive, fast finish, but race dominated by speed. Super gallop-out after wire, much better than looked.

Comeback filly not asked for speed in maiden turf sprint, four wide through turn and wider yet into lane, finished evenly in what appeared to be merely a comeback prep. Can improve next out.

Veteran gelding is not a sprinter, this starter allowance sprint was only a prep. Wide midfield, lost ground on turn and into lane, even finish, solid gallop-out. Good comeback, he wants two turns.
