What is tougher to find Sunday – Easter eggs or Gulfstream Park overlays? You’re on your own with the eggs, perhaps Gulfstream prices will be easier to uncover.

Gulfstream Park, race 2 (12:29 p.m. ET) – Restricted claiming races – N2L and N3L – frequently are won by sharp horses moving up from maiden-claiming or N2L wins, irrespective of previous races. Sounds simple, right? London Werewolf (12) crushed a N2L last out; his figure is within four points of par for this $8K claiming N3L level. London Werewolf is 10-1, might have to settle for a little less.

Gulfstream Park, race 3 (12:58 p.m. ET) – This bettor was prepared to support comeback maiden Bahamian Beat (1) in an open maiden race Saturday due to utter disrespect for his rivals and trainer Ralph Nicks’s record with comebackers. Bahamian Beat remains the top choice in this statebred race, but he was listed at 30-1 on Saturday and just 6-1 on Sunday. Enthusiasm is somewhat tempered facing speedy comebacker Whiskey Sunrise (6).

Gulfstream Park, race 7 (2:57 p.m. ET) – A claiming sprint with no pace? That is fine for Ray’swarrior (7). He steadied and was shuffled out of position last out as the favorite. Draw a line through it. Ray’swarrior drops off a claim, which is not a great pattern, but it sure looks like he could make the lead and be long gone. Listed at 5-1, expecting shorter.
