Boulet promoted to senior director in track management shakeup
Jason Boulet, the racing secretary at Fair Grounds Race Course and Slots, has been promoted to senior director of racing and will oversee all aspects of Fair Grounds’s racing operations, the track announced Thursday.
Boulet will partially fill a role previously held by Howard “H” Withers, who was named general manager of racing at Fair Grounds in 2013. Withers is no longer part of the management team at the racetrack, Fair Grounds said in a release.
The management moves at Fair Grounds also include delegating additional customer responsibilities to Bradley Bryant, who was recently promoted to senior director of operations, the track said. Bryant now will oversee the departments at the track and at the casino that “interact with guests,” Fair Grounds said, including parking, admissions, and pari-mutuel staff.
The track also has hired Leonard Lantz as senior director of facilities, the release stated.
