Booklet to stand at Glencrest

Booklet, a Grade 1 winner owned by John and Debby Oxley, will enter stud at the Greathouse family's Glencrest Farm in Midway, Ky., in 2004, the farm has announced.

Glencrest purchased an undisclosed percentage of Booklet, a 4-year-old Notebook colt, and will stand him for $6,500.

Booklet retired in May because of an ankle injury sustained during a workout at Keeneland. Trained by John Ward, the Florida-bred Booklet won the 2002 Fountain of Youth Stakes. His other stakes victories in a three-year campaign came in the Holy Bull, Dover, and In Reality stakes. He earned $989,460 and won 7 of his 14 starts. He was Florida's statebred horse of the year in 2002.
