Bob's All In can win right back
Bob’s All In is on an upward trend, and if he continues his progress he could notch his second straight win in a $25,000 conditioned claiming race at Emerald Downs on Friday. The 6 1/2-furlong dash drew a solid field of 3-year-olds and up and goes as race 6 on a seven-race program that begins at 6:30 p.m. Pacific.
Bob’s All In seemed to be heading in the wrong direction at Golden Gate Fields before being bought by the Emerald Racing Club and transferred to trainer Sharon Ross.
Prior to his runner-up finish in a $10,000 starter race at Emerald on April 20, he finished last in a $12,500 conditioned claiming race at Golden Gate on March 9. In his race at Emerald he dropped back to last after steadying at the start in the 5 1/2-furlong sprint.
With an extra half furlong to work with, he proved his strong effort in his first start for Ross was no fluke when he rallied to edge Wine At Nine in a $10,000 starter race May 12. The 78 Beyer Speed Figure he received is a career best, and is also the best last-race figure in the field. With an honest pace expected, the shape of Friday’s race should work for him.

Kevin Orozco retains the mount.
The Vince Gibson-trained Wine At Nine will be among the early leaders as he goes for his 14th win at Emerald and 15th overall. He is eligible for the non-winners of two clause in the conditions of the race because maiden races, claiming and starter races for $22,500 or less aren’t considered.
He will break from the outside post with leading rider Gray Wales aboard.

Wine at Nine, by Divine Point
Last 3 Beyers: 76-59-78
◗ The 7-year-old Kentucky-bred gelding improved in his second start following a winter break and could be sitting on a big effort with a solid race behind him.
Cross Creek, by Parkers Storm Cat
Last 3 Beyers: 69-72-73
◗ He should move forward in his second start following a layoff for leading trainer Frank Lucrelli, and he should appreciate the added distance after running evenly going 5 1/2 furlongs at this level May 10.
Wheel Rally, by Rallying Cry
Last 3 Beyers: 69-60-48
◗ The Bob Meeking-trained 4-year-old is making his first start of the year, and considering he won his debut as a juvenile and romped first-time out as a sophomore, we know he can fire fresh.
