Black-Eyed Susan winner Actress will make her return to the races in the Grade 3 Delaware Oaks at Delaware Park on Saturday. The $300,000 race for 3-year-old fillies has six entrants and will be run at 1 1/16 miles. Actress rallied from far back to win the first race of her career in the Grade 2 Black-Eyed Susan for trainer Jason Servis and owners Gary and Mary West. She held off Lights of Medina to win the 1 1/18-mile race by a head. Actress has worked only once since the May 19 Black-Eyed Susan: she breezed a half-mile in 50 seconds June 29. Nik Juarez, the leading rider at Monmouth, will be back aboard Saturday. Trainer Jerry Hollendorfer has entered It Tiz Well, who won the Grade 3 Honeybee at Oaklawn Park in March. She has since finished third in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Oaks and fifth in the Grade 2 Summertime Oaks at Santa Anita. Berned is coming off a sharp allowance win at Monmouth in his first start since being transferred to Graham Motion. The field also includes Modacious, Proud and Fearless and You Know Too. The Saturday card at Delaware Park includes three other stakes, topped by the Grade 3, $200,000 Robert G. Dick Memorial, a 1 3/8-mile turf race for fillies and mares. The Dick drew a field of nine, topped by Zipessa, who is based at the Fair Hills Training Center with trainer Michael Stidham. Zipessa most recently finished third after setting the pace in the Grade 3 Eatontown going 1 1/16 miles at Monmouth Park. Joe Bravo picks up the mount Saturday. Trainer Christophe Clement will send in Paige, who will be making her first start since finishing third to Suffused in The Very One at Gulfstream Park in March. The field also includes Bishop's Pond, Giovanna Blues, Gone Away, Guilty Twelve, Happyness, Northern Smile, and Tricky Escape. The other two stakes are the $50,000 Dashing Beauty, a six-furlong sprint for fillies and mares, and the $50,000 Cape Henlopen, a 1 1/2-mile turf marathon.
