Big two-day carryover spices card
OZONE PARK, N.Y. - For the second straight Wednesday, a two-day pick six carryover starts the racing week at Aqueduct. Last week, the pool surpassed $600,000 and there were four winning tickets sold, each worth $99,695.
There is a $131,338 carryover entering Wednesday's card. Wet conditions are likely. Below are some thoughts on each of the six races.
Fourth: has done his best running at Aqueduct.
Fifth: This starter allowance will be moved to the dirt and run at 1 mile. White Buck, Lord Langfuhr, and possibly Mutamayyaz are the ones to use.
hasn't run since finishing second to Lord Langfuhr in an Aug. 29 off-the-turf event, but this 8-year-old shows a decent work tab.
Sixth: Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin is satisfied with each of first two starts and believes she'll want the 1 1/8 miles of this race.
Obviously goes turf to dirt for Mark Hennig and is out of a dam (All Primed) who is a half-sister to Awesome Again (2 for 2 wet) and Macho Uno. Deeper tickets might add , whose dam side suggests she would handle two turns and a wet track.
Seventh: already has won in the mud and at the distance.
Eighth: is the wild card. She makes first start in 10 months and first for Bill Mott. She also owns a wet-track win.
Ninth: lone win is over this track.
