Beulah Park: Pay the Man extends winning streak to six in Scarlet and Gray

Pay the Man won her sixth consecutive race Saturday afternoon at Beulah Park by taking the $50,000 Scarlet and Gray Handicap for Ohio-bred fillies and mares.

The 7-year-old Pay the Man was kept to the outside of the early pace in the six-furlong sprint. Jockey Luis Gonzalez shook the reins at Pay the Man and she drew of in late stretch to win by 2 1/4 lengths under right handed urging. Trained by Miguel Feliciano, Pay the Man was sent off as the 4-5 favorite and returned $3.80 to win after completing the distance in 1:12.03.

Indian Ink, finished second after dueling in upper stretch, a neck in front of a late-gaining Honey Be Fleet in third. Honey Be Fleet left the gate late and spotted the field several lengths.
