Beulah: Jac's Fact earns first career win in Radosevich Memorial

John McDulin|Nov 16, 2013

Jac's Fact, winless in his first six career starts, overcame a troubled start and weaved his way through traffic to win the $50,000 Josh Radosevich Memorial Stakes for Ohio-accredited 2-year-olds at Beulah Park on Saturday afternoon.

Jac’s Fact ($18.40), bobbled and bore out at the start under leading rider Edgar Paucar and was still only sixth with a furlong remaining in the six-furlong race. He dueled with Kelly’s Pride and got up by a half-length, completing the distance on a fast track in 1:15.44. Wild Pacific was three parts of a length back in third.

Trained by Ivan Vazquez, Jac’s Fact was coming back two weeks after tossing his rider at the start of a maiden race at Mountaineer. His previous best race was a third in the Hoover at Beulah in his career debut.
