Spot PlayPAPA’S FLASHY GIRL (#6, 3-1) broke slowly and then got hung out to dry with a wide trip for $40K at SA Oct. 19. Miller has given the filly some time to regroup and there’s a class drop. She moves to one turn here and with her tactical speed and some stamina this might be the ideal trip for her. Her outside post can allow rider Rosario so see what’s happening to his inside and adjust from there, as she’s shown a bit of versatility to boot. - Michael Hammersly
Spot PlayBlinkers-on-dropper A P PEPPER (#2, 5-2) can win this seven and one-half furlong maiden-claimer for juvenile fillies by reproducing her closing runner-up debut two starts back. -Brad Free

Spot PlayG3-placed MOONE’S MY NAME is a legitimate favorite, but second choice GULSARY (#5, 7-2) is worth a gamble. Her recent N2X win was more impressive than the margin or speed figure indicates. -Brad Free

Vulnerable FavoriteMARKET NOTES (#1, 5-2) is no doubt the one to beat as the colt has 2 2nds and 2 3rds to start his career. That being said, he wasn’t really a big threat late in his last 3 (beaten 3 1/4 lengths, 2 3/4 lengths, 2 1/4 lengths) so it’s not as if he comes here off a bunch of close calls. Also, he’s mired with the rail draw and that hasn’t been a bargain one-turning here all meet. -Michael Hammersly
