Spot PlayPEARL DE VERE (#5, 6-1) has come around nicely since move to SoCal. She was away last & rallied into a slow turf-sprint pace in most recent start. The pace this time, barring scratches, will be anything but slow, & she looks like the right rally-er. - Marcus Hersh Closer Looks >> |

Spot PlayBAB’S RULES (#10, 9-2) gave way readily in her debut, which also came at SA last Jan. 26 and she hasn’t been seen since. However, you can always forgive a debut run and that first try also came vs. tougher straight maidens in a heat that was highly flattered (produced 4 next-out winners). She takes the most significant drop in the game for a trainer having a strong meet and all 3 sibs are winners including 3-time SW Babs Moossa. And that ugly debut running line and subsequent layoff should keep the price elevated. -Michael Hammersly
