Bessemer donates TV time to charities

Bessemer Trust Company, which recently announced sponsorship of the Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships, has announced it will donate approximately 30 spots of national television time to three equine-related charities.

The television spots, airing on CBS, ESPN, and ESPN2 now through October, will be divided between the Grayson - Jockey Club Research Foundation which funds scientific veterinary research aimed at improving the health and safety of horses, the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation which operates a network of facilities to care for and arrange for the adoption of retired race horses, and the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association.
