Belmont show to benefit research

The annual Belmont Bash, to benefit the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation, will be held Friday at the Hudson Theatre at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York City. The event, hosted by the New York Racing Association and The Jockey Club, will feature cocktails, dinner, and a performance by the Beatles tribute band the Fab Faux.

Tickets for cocktails, dinner, and the show are $350. Concert-only tickets are $50.

"Raising funds for an equine charity whose sole purpose is improving the health and welfare of the horse is the perfect way to spend the eve of New York's classic race, the Belmont Stakes," said NYRA's chief executive, Charles Hayward.
