Belmont: Pick six pays $221,048 to six winners

ELMONT, N.Y. - There were six winning tickets sold on Friday’s pick six at Belmont Park, each returning $221,048.
Four of the winning tickets were sold in Las Vegas, and the other two in Canada, according to the New York Racing Association.
There was a three-card carryover of $485,964 entering Friday’s program and an additional $1,443,823 was wagered into the pool.
The sequence began with 3-5 shot Sapphire Blue ($3.50) galloping to victory, but that would be the only winning favorite in the six races.
The remainder of the winners were Don Tito ($11.60), Tres Hermanas ($13.80), Ballerina Belle ($9.10), Justoneatheguys ($13.80), and Mighty Reward ($24.60).
The consolation payout (5 of 6) was $803.
