Belmont pick 6 carryover reaches $326,010
ELMONT, N.Y. - No one solved the pick 6 at Belmont Park over the just-completed three-day race week, resulting in a carryover of $326,010 when racing resumes Wednesday.
There was a carryover of $89,989 entering Sunday’s card after no one hit the wager on Friday or Saturday. There was an additional $414,086 wagered into the pool on Sunday.
Most tickets were dead after the first leg when Magical Tale upset a maiden turf sprint at 52-1, returning $107.
There was one live ticket heading into the last leg, but Joe’s Smokin Gun could do no better than fourth behind Mr. Massena.
With the sequence including H Man ($4.70), Victor Lounge ($11.80), Lucky Ramsey ($14.60), True Timber ($6.60), and Mr. Massena ($12.40), the consolation payout (5 of 6) was $1,267.
Wednesday’s pick 6 starts with race 4 (3:09 p.m.) and includes three turf races and the $150,000 Joseph A. Gimma Stakes for New York-bred juvenile fillies at seven furlongs on the dirt.
