Belmont: Feline Story cruises

ELMONT, N.Y. - Feline Story ($8) proved she could handle a fast track as deftly as a sloppy one, rolling to a four-length victory in the $108,300 Astoria Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Belmont Park.

Unbridled Beauty, the 1-2 favorite off a monster maiden win at Churchill Downs, finished second. Her loss extended trainer D. Wayne Lukas's New York skid to 0 for 50.

Trainer Stanley Hough said Feline Story would be pointed to the Schuylerville Stakes at Saratoga on July 23.

* Something Ventured ($11) put away a couple of early pace challenges and held off a late run from Peanut Gallery to take the $65,850 Auntie Mame Stakes by two lengths.
