Belmont $1 pick four pays $126k

The pick four at Belmont Park Sunday was hit for $126,617 for a $1 bet on one winning ticket, the highest payout since the wager was introduced on opening day, May 9.

The pick 4 began in the sixth race with Pulled Out ($91.50) winning and was followed by wins from Doc's Destiny ($22.80), Pebo's Guy ($24.80), and Visit the Circle ($11.40).

Sunday's pick four pool reached $168,823. On May 13, a $1 wager on the pick four returned $97,467.

There is a 25 percent takeout on pick four wagers.
