Bella Dona improved her career record to 6 for 7 on Sunday when she won her 3-year-old debut in the $100,000 La Senora at Sunland Park. She darted to a four-length win over Running for Grace, while it was another three lengths back in third to Real Me. The La Senora was a six-furlong race restricted to 3-year-old fillies bred in New Mexico. Bella Dona ($3.80) set the pace, putting up fractions of 22.31 seconds for the opening quarter and 44.83 for the half-mile, before going on to cover the distance on a fast track in 1:09.17. Lindey Wade was aboard the winner for trainer Simon Buechler. Bella Dona is a daughter of Attila’s Storm who races for her breeders, Robert Driggers and Del Rae Driggers, and partner Ben Lee Ivey. She was winning the fourth stakes race of her career and has now earned $315,068. I’ve Got It, the only horse to have defeated Bella Dona in her career, was scratched from the La Senora.  :: Bet the races with confidence on DRF Bets.
