Durable Goods
Trainer: Chad Brown
Last Race: July 29, 11th
Finish: 1st by 2 3/4
Beyer: 82
4-year-old filly flashed potential while rallying late into a modest pace first time out, and she came right back with a better effort to roll over maidens after finding handier placement in her second start.

Trainer: Chad Brown
Last Race: July 30, 5th
Finish: 1st by 11 3/4
Beyer: 86
2-year-old filly was rumored to be a runner prior to making her debut, and she did not disappoint. She flashed sharp speed right from the gates, and then just improved her position throughout the running while never appearing to get down to serious business.
Vagabond
Trainer: Shug McGaughey
Last Race: July 29, 7th
Finish: 6th by 4
Beyer: 84
Has been a bit a trip horse since breaking her maiden in her second career start, so it would be wise to tread a little lightly when she reappears, but she was stymied in traffic through the stretch in this race, and it was over by the time she finally did manage to angle to the outside in the very late stages.
La Sola Ranger
Trainer: Mark Casse
Last Race: July 29, 7th
Finish: 9th by 6 1/2
Beyer: 79
Had the more obvious trouble when finishing behind fellow horse to watch Vagabond in that 7th race, as she was sitting in a perfect position in behind the lead before failing to come clear in the stretch. First three starts of her career suggest that she has some talent.
