Rymska
Trainer: Chad Brown
Last race: Nov. 23, 7th
Finish: 1st by 1 1/4
Beyer: 93
Made it 3 for 3 this year, all in stakes, after closing strongly from last to first to win the Winter Memories with a new top Beyer of 93. Three-year-old filly remains lightly raced and could have a big year in 2018.

Perfectexpectation
Trainer: Mike Maker
Last race: Nov. 26, 2nd
Finish: 2nd by 3/4
Beyer: 68
Likely just bumped into a better horse in this race, but he ran well after a bit of trip. He also ran well in his prior start, making a wide run to contention before flattening out late. Two-year-old New York-bred appears to be sitting on a maiden win if he can get another turf race to go up here.
