Wound up last in the early stages of a New York-bred allowance sprint, and couldn't make progress while stuck in traffic all through the turn before finishing gamely for third behind the two favorites. Three-year-old filly is in deceptively good form right now.

Impressed in romping to new Beyer top in New York debut last November, and he took the worst of it making first start for new connections here. He was stuck wide with no choice but to go on with a long run to challenge the leaders, towing the eventual winner right into the race. Still fought on gamely to the wire in very tough defeat.

Faced a tough task while rated off the pace in a race where the favored winner controlled the front, but she finished gamely once moved clear in the stretch to cut down the margin, and then galloped out strongly past the wire.

Finish: 6th by 4
Beyer: 70
Five-year-old horse looked to be prepping off the layoff while keeping cover for a long way and then racing on once moved clear in the stretch of six-furlong sprint, which was taken wire to wire.
