Two-year-old filly by Algorithms was rated early, middle-moved up the backstretch, and then made a wide run around the turn before powering clear through the stretch en route to a visually impressive debut score on turf.

Beyer: 64
Had no chance with Sophie Germain while also making her career debut in that route, but she came with a good finish of her own after getting bumped back to last at the start. This $370,000 purchase has a strong pedigree for turf and can build upon that promising run going forward.

Three-year-old gelding sat a perfect trip on the rail but looked no worse for wear in posting a facile win while matching his career-top Beyer Speed Figure and making first start since a 19th-place finish in the Kentucky Derby back in May. Likely to try to stretch it back out in the short term, but his future may lie in shorter, one-turn races.
