Beckon injured when thrown from mount at Fort Erie

Chad Beckon, the leading rider at Fort Erie, will be out of action indefinitely after sustaining a concussion when he was thrown from his mount during the eighth race on Saturday. Beckon, who finished second with 73 victories at Fort Erie last year, has ridden 63 winners this season.
