Be Vewy Vewy Quiet looks to bounce back in Bull Page

ETOBICOKE, Ontario – Be Vewy Vewy Quiet suffered his first defeat in the Colin Stakes last out on Sept. 2 and will be looking to bounce back in Monday’s $125,000 Bull Page Stakes for Ontario-sired 2-year-olds over six furlongs on Tapeta.
Be Vewy Vewy Quiet won his first two starts, including the Clarendon Stakes on Aug. 5, but wound up third, beaten just a half-length, in the Colin Stakes as the 1-5 favorite. Be Vewy Vewy Quiet saved ground along the inside in the four-horse field but bumped with Tenacity Zip at the top of the stretch while trying to find racing room.
“He was hemmed in,” trainer Robert Tiller said. “He had a rough trip.”
Be Vewy Vewy Quiet has put in two works since the Colin Stakes, and Tiller said he liked how the gelding is coming into the race.
“He’s in good order,” he said. “He should run well.”
