Bay Meadows: Planoncometbebopin wins

SAN MATEO, Calif - Planoncometbebopin rallied from last place at the top of the stretch to win the $44,200 Floral Fiesta Stakes by a length over her stablemate Color Me Special at Bay Meadows.

The sprinter Song of the Moment set the pace in the mile turf test, while Planoncometbebopin and Color Me Special lagged far back and rallied wide. Color Me Special took the lead approaching the eighth pole, but then could not withstand her stablemate, who was ridden by A. D. Lopez. Song of the Moment held on to finish third, two lengths behind Color Me Special. Super Tuesday, the 4-5 favorite, raced in a contending position but failed to rally and finished fifth.
