Batavia: NYSS divisions won by Patsville, Gotthegreenlight

Patsville and Gotthegreenlight both led at every call in winning their respective $57,000 New York Sire Stakes tests for 3-year-old pacing fillies on Wednesday evening at Batavia Downs.
Starting from post one in the opening flight, Patsville was sent to the top from Tyler Buter and ended up not being challenged after a two-wide Two Proud (Pat Lachance) broke stride on the first turn. With the lead secured, Patsville carved out fractions of 28 3/5, 57 4/5, and 1:25 4/5, then came home in 27 4/5 to defeat pocket-sitter Wine N Dine Me (Jason Bartlett) by a length in 1:53 3/5. American Ticket (Jim Morrill Jr.) collected third.
John Butenschoen trains Patsville, a daughter of Huntsville bred by Ross Bonafeld, for owners William De Long and William P. De Long. This was her seventh wind from 19 career starts, she has now earned $172,593, and she paid $9.10 to win as the 7-2 third choice.
In the other section Gotthegreenlight (Bartlett) chopped out fractions of just 28 4/5, 58 1/5, and 1:26 1/5, but A Girl That Twirls (Morrill Jr.) angled out in the stretch after advancing into the pocket on the last turn and rallied at Gotthegreenlight. Despite a solid bid at the 1-9 favorite and pace-setter, A Girl That Twirls ran out of racetrack, with Gotthegreenlight hitting the wire a quarter of a length to the good in 1:53 2/5. Lee Loo (Buter) was third after sitting in the two-hole.
