Paul White Non Stick rebounded from her only career break in stride in her last start to win her New York Sire Stakes race

Non Stick and Goosebump Hanover defeated the wagering choice in their respective New York Sire Stakes divisions for 3-year-old trotting fillies on Saturday evening at Batavia Downs.

In the first $60,200 group, Non Stick (Ake Svanstedt) cleared to the the front just past the 29 second opening quarter, then went on to click off a half in 59 4/5 and a three-quarters in 1:29 3/5. The race favorite Fad Finance (Jim Morrill Jr.) moved up to challenge first-over before three-quarters, and she would get the lead on the outside as they raced in the final turn. However, once they straightened up for the stretch drive, Non Stick would come back on at the inside, and she would regain the lead and the win in 1:58 2/5. Fad Finance wound up second, beaten 2 1/4 lengths, and Dizzy Broad (Kevin Cummings) came in third.

Svanstedt also trains and co-owns Non Stick, a Lucky Chucky filly, with Little E LLC. Non Stick has now won 10 times from 13 career attempts, and she shows earnings of $373,880. The 9-5 second choice, Non Stick paid $5.60.

The other $59,100 division saw Lindylicious (Kevin Cummings), Swinging Royalty (Chris Lems), and Earn Your Wings (Charlie Norris) all take a turn on the lead before the 58 2/5 half went on the board. Shuffled back to third after the exchanging of the lead, Lindylicious came back to the outside before the 1:28 2/5 three-quarters, giving a second-over trip to Goosebump Hanover (Morrill Jr.). Earn Your Wings bought the fillies into the stretch, but Morrill Jr. had his filly fanned wide off the cover, and she would trot by Earn Your Wings on her way to a three-quarter length decision in 1:58. Swinging Royalty held third.

Ron Burke trains the victorious daughter of RC Royalty for owners Burke Racing Stable LLC., J&T Silva Stables LLC., Crawford Farms LLC., and Joe Di Scala Jr. Goosebump Hanover has seven wins from 20 career attempts, and she now has banked $194,061. Sent off at 4-1, Goosebump Hanover returned $10.40.
