Barretts select yearling sale catalog now online

The catalog for the inaugural Barretts select yearling sale is now online, with 68 horses on offer.

The sale will take place Saturday, Aug. 15 at Del Mar Racetrack, beginning approximately 30 minutes after the day’s last race. The yearlings will be stabled inside the Del Mar Horse Show Arena adjacent to the sales pavilion.

In addition to the 68 horses scheduled to sell, there will be an also-eligible list of horses cataloged at Hip 70 and higher that will be allowed to enter the sale if a yearling numerically below them in terms of hip number is withdrawn. This brings the total number of yearlings in the catalog up to 75.

First-crop stallions represented with foals in the catalog include Acclamation, Americain, Calimonco, Coil, Creative Cause, Dialed In, Hansen, and Shackleford.
