Barretts Paddock Sale at Del Mar catalog available online

The catalog for the Barretts Paddock Sale at Del Mar of race ready horses is now available online and may be viewed on the auction company’s website.

The one-day sale will be held Sunday, July 20 in the Del Mar paddock twenty minutes after the last race of the day is declared official, estimated around 6:30 p.m. Pacific.

Additional horses will be added through next Tuesday, and will be posted online by next Wednesday. Printed catalogs will be available only at Del Mar beginning Friday, July 18. The catalog is also available through the Equineline Sale Catalog app.

Several stakes winners are featured in the catalog as of July 11, including Heir Kitty, who won the Grade 1 La Brea Stakes on Dec. 26 of last year at Santa Anita and is entered in Saturday’s Grade 2 Great Lady M Stakes at Los Alamitos.

Horses will be available for inspection starting July 18 during non-training hours in the barn located closest to the Del Mar paddock (East side of Barn Y). Horses eligible for Del Mar’s Ship and Win program, which offers a bonus of 33 percent for additional purse money plus $1,000 for qualified horses, will be clearly identified and announced when they enter the sales ring.
