Barretts March sale catalogs are out

Catalogs are available online now for the Barretts March selected 2-year-old sale, set for March 5 at Fairplex Park in Pomona, Calif.

The catalog, which was scaled down by 22 percent last year, has grown in 2012 with 149 juveniles in the book, a 41 percent increase over the 2011 figure. Once again, the auction will take place in a night session that starts at 6 p.m. local time in the Hinds Pavilion at Fairplex.

The auction’s under-tack show will take place March 2 at 10 a.m. at the Fairplex racetrack. The works will be videotaped, and tapes will be available online by the following afternoon.
