Barretts January sale catalog features 181 horses

The catalog for the Barretts January mixed sale is now available online, with 181 horses scheduled to be on offer.

The auction will take place Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Fairplex Park in Pomona, Calif., beginning at 11 a.m. Pacific.

This year’s catalog features 66 2-year-olds, 61 broodmares or racing/broodmare prospects, 46 newly turned yearlings, seven racing-age offerings, and one stallion – California resident Sway Away, whose first foals are 3-year-olds of 2017.

Yearlings will be stabled inside the original Barretts barns adjacent to the Finish Line Sports Grill Pavilion.

Supplemental entries for the sale will be taken until two weeks prior to the auction.
