Trainer Victor Barboza Jr. has a trio of female runners who have stakes options from Gulfstream to Woodbine to Monmouth Park.
Beth’s Dream, a stakes winner coming off a victory in an overnight handicap in April at Gulfstream, has a long-range goal of the track’s Grade 3, $220,000 Princess Rooney on Sept. 21, Barboza said.
Great Venezuela is under serious consideration for the Grade 3, $135,000 Hendrie at Woodbine, according to Barboza. The 6 1/2-furlong race for fillies and mares is July 6.
It will be run on Tapeta, the same type of synthetic surface over which Great Venezuela won a $25,000 starter allowance by 11 lengths in her last out April 21 at Gulfstream. For the effort, she earned a career-high Beyer Speed Figure of 91.
Barboza said Great Venezuela also has options at Gulfstream.
The unbeaten Tiffany Gold likely will make her next start in the $100,000 Blue Sparkler at Monmouth, Barboza said. The 5 1/2-furlong turf sprint is for 3-year-old fillies on July 13.
Tiffany Gold won a first-level allowance at five furlongs on turf May 12 at Gulfstream and earned a Beyer of 87.
