Banke, three others reelected to Breeders' Cup board

Barbara Banke, the owner of Stonestreet Farm, was reelected to the board of directors of Breeders’ Cup along with three other directors, according to election results released by the organization on Wednesday.
Banke, an influential owner and breeder, is also the chair of Breeders’ Cup, having been reelected to the position in 2025. She was first appointed as chair in 2021 and is now serving her third consecutive two-year term.
Also reelected to the board were Walker Hancock of Claiborne Farm, Gray Lyster of Ashview Farm, and Elliott Walden of WinStar Farm. All of the director positions have four-year terms.
Votes for directors are cast by the 39 members of the organization.
