Bank Sting runs away with Dancin Renee

Bank Sting won the fifth stakes race of her career Sunday when she pulled away by 5 1/2 lengths in the $100,000 Dancin Renee at Belmont Park.
The Important One finished second, while it was another 1 1/2 lengths back in third to Kept Waiting.
The Dancin Renee was a six-furlong race for fillies and mares bred in New York.
Bank Sting ($3.60) tracked the pace set by The Important One, who took the field through an opening quarter in 22.50 seconds and a half-mile in 45.85. The eventual winner moved to the fore from there and increased her advantage to the wire to win on a fast track in 1:10.82.
“She broke really well and she put herself more in the race today than last time,” winning rider Joel Rosario told the New York Racing Association publicity department. “She was happy up there.”
