Race 1
(1) EXPLOSIVE POWER just raced evenly last week but has room to improve with the best post. (4) SIMON VAN GELDER two-year-old faces older but gets sent out second start for proven connections. (3) LIMA PIZZAZ well bred filly has gone south after a solid effort to start the year. The 3-year-old's a player against a weak field with a bounce-back effort.

Race 2
(3) WESTERN BOUDOIR mare has not been sharp in the new barn but faces a really soft field. (2) LIL MISS KNUCKLES had some sneaky late pace last week; threat. (6) PEACELOVEPACE mare raced big last start at Maywood but needs more; command a price.
Race 3
(7) JESSE'S POTION filly might be the horse to beat in the field with a smooth trip despite being 0 for 18 in her career. (3) STICKUM VICKY lightly raced 2-year-old filly has trouble staying trotting but can threaten if she minds her manners. (6) DREAMS OF HER has been very disappointing in her last few; use caution.
Race 4
(6) MISS PAT WEISAR just needs a good setup to score and will likely offer the better price of the contenders. (1) SEEKIN FOR GLAMOUR has dominated at this level for more than two years and will look to make it two straight. (7) THEDAYYOUHAVEMADE was used hard last out at Maywood but picks back up a top driver.
Race 5
(1) MR MATLOCK barely broke a sweat in his last two but will need to go a bit faster against this bunch. (6) SHHRAYRAY sophomore pacer is very fast but can jump off stride any second. (7) SKYWAY BILLY is 0 for 24 on the year but does get sent out for a capable trainer.
Race 6
(6) VITAL TERROR pacer has shown a big burst of speed in an inconsistent field. (3) KOSTAS WINE races inconsistently from week to week but a good effort puts him in the mix at a price. (4) SUNSET DREAMER has trouble keeping up on the last turn but if close enough always a threat late.
Race 7
(7) TEA PARTY PATRIOT needs a fast pace to close into for his best chance. The 4-year-old has had no racing luck in his last few starts. (5) ENDEAVORS KING shows good efforts against better and comes off an easy victory. (6) REJOICEANDBEGLAD owns a win at this level and always offers value.
Race 8
(7) FOX VALLEY ARAMON has been knocking on the door and faces much weaker than his last few. (8) RED RED REDNECK is one of few contenders in the race coming off a nice victory at the fair. (6) PARTY FALLS freshman pacer makes his career debut and flashed ability in the qualifier.
Race 9
In a field full of question marks, (3) SPORTY LADY looks terrible on paper, however the big track could be just what she needs to improve at a price. (6) REAL SHEILA has beaten much better on the year but races very inconsistently from week to week. (5) SANDY DUNE filly needs some racing luck and a smooth trip to hit the board; use underneath.
Race 10
(10) LOVE YOU BAD was the driver's choice of three and needed her last start. (8) THE DALI'S LLAMA should be in the gimmicks with a trouble-free trip coming off a game victory. (5) LEO might have some of the kinks worked out and showed a decent late kick last week.
