Race 1
(6) DRAGON’S SPORT closed nicely in his first start of the year and should offer a nice price in a wide open race. (1) ALL DUNE has a lot of positives: he draws the rail, adds second time Lasix and makes second start for the new connections; threat. (5) TANGIBLE HOPE has some ability and raced gamely last out against better.
Race 2
(3) SARA THE SPY had too much ground to make up last out, but gets a much better post and will be closer turning for home. (1) LITTLE MS CHRISSY is one-half of a powerful entry. The 3-year-old is just now getting back into racing shape and I believe is the more talented of the two. (1a) JUST FOR FUN has come back razor sharp and parlayed a perfect trip to a big victory last out.
Race 3
(4) NA ZDROWIE comes off a big effort and faces a very soft field. (6) ONE LOUD DING also put in a good effort last out and that appears to be something the filly can build on. (8) SKYWAY MODEL doesn’t show much gate speed, so she’s going to be at the mercy of the pace and the outside flow; fires late.
Race 4
(3) FOX VALLEY ROXY made a miscue last out but has trotted faster than most of the field. Three-year-old flashed a lot of talent last year and just needs to mind her manners for a good piece. Lightly raced 4-year-old (6) FANCY LABEL was awesome last out and has lots of room for improvement. (1) SUNBONNET SUE draws the rail but has come up empty in her last two efforts; command a price.
Race 5
(6) FOX VALLEY NICO kicked home nicely last out racing gamely against a good opponent; big chance. (2) UNLOCKED dominated in his qualifier, kicking home in 27 1/5 to win easily, but is making his first start under the lights and will offer low value; use caution. (1) DIDDY DUNE draws the rail and put in a good debut effort.
Race 6
(1) COME ON JO-JO has been improving with every start and looks to be in line for a ground saving trip. (5) BRING IT ALL has good gate speed and has been right there on the wire in his last three efforts; vulnerable late. (9) MORTAL COMBAT has been off a month after being scratched-injured. Three-year-old had won two straight impressively and if healthy would be a huge threat to make it three in a row.
Race 7
(5) BOILER HEIDI HO drops back down in class after doing some damage at Hoosier. Mare has the most ability in the race and is versatile; short price. (3) FOX VALLEY LILAC will need some racing luck and a fast pace up front to get the victory. (1) HURRICANE TINIA looked to be a winner before coming up short. Six-year-old mare draws the rail and will look to shake loose late.
Race 8
(8) CLASS STAR raced pretty well last out and should improve; big chance. (2) SOUTHWIND METALLIC has yet to miss the board in seven career starts; threat. (1) LAD’S LEGACY just raced evenly last out but had been sharp prior.
Race 9
(8) BONN SCOTT was an easy winner in this class in his last start and is a threat to dominate these with any kind of trip. (6) LIMA STORM comes off two nice efforts and could be a threat to the top choice if he should find trouble. (7) COME IN BET IT gets a big driver change and can challenge the top choice if he gets a fast pace up front to close into.
Race 10
(1) MYSTERY BOX has breaking issues, but if she decides to pace she could be faster than these. Three-year-old draws the rail and will offer a big price; just make sure she‘s on the gait before you bet her. (5) WHATASWEETFLIGHT is racing gamely and could be sitting on a big effort. (6) DUNESIDE BRAT just missed last out and has the most upside in the race should the top choice make a miscue.
