OZONE PARK, N.Y. – Trainer Luis Miranda and owner Darryl Abramowitz will look to get a quick return on their investment when they run Ballagh Rocks, claimed for $62,500 out of his most recent race, in Saturday’s $100,000 Artie Schiller Stakes going a mile on turf at Aqueduct. Click to learn more. Ballagh Rocks, a 7-year-old son of Stormy Atlantic, won the Lure Stakes for trainer Bill Mott on closing day of the Saratoga meet. Mott ran him back in an optional $62,500 claiming race, and though he won, Ballagh Rocks was claimed. The New York-breds Therapist and Rinaldi are top contenders in the Artie Schiller, which also drew Clear Vision, Delaware, Hawkish, Hembree, Ninethy One Assault, and Valid Point for the turf. Backsideofthemoon, Sea Foam, Chilly in Charge, and Compound It are entered for the dirt. Also on Saturday’s 10-race card is the $100,000 Notebook Stakes for New York-bred juveniles. Blue Gator, winner of the New York Breeders’ Futurity, and his Mike Maker-trained stablemate Lookin for Trouble head a field of seven that also includes Eagle Orb, Storm Shooter, Market Alert, Half Right, and Horn of Plenty.
