Back Seat Roll will attempt to remain unbeaten at two turns on Saturday when she takes on highweight Funnyoushouldask in the $45,000 Russell and Helen Foutz Distaff Handicap at SunRay Park in Farmington, N.M. The race is the second stakes of the meet, which opens Friday.

KEY CONTENDERS
Back Seat Roll (Last 3 Beyers: 57-51-59)
She has made two other starts at two turns, both at Sunland Park. Back Seat Roll won the $85,000 Enchantress at a mile in 2012 and the $85,000 New Mexico Breeders’ Oaks at 1 1/16 miles in 2013. She also is a two-time sprint-stakes winner in races at Ruidoso Downs and Zia Park.
Back Seat Roll has a useful stalking style and could get an ideal trip behind such rivals as Hot News Girl and Traders Pride. A concern is that she could get hung wide from post 10.
Enrique Gomez has the mount for J. Kirk and Judy Robison and trainer Henry Dominguez.
Funnyoushouldask (Last 3 Beyers: 43-52-67)
The runner-up in last year’s Foutz Distaff Handicap, she is the 123-pound highweight on Saturday. Back Seat Roll will tote 118.
Funnyoushouldask was a stakes winner in March in the $85,000 La Coneja, a 5 1/2-furlong race on the undercard of the Sunland Park Derby.
