Azeri produces her second foal

Former Horse of the Year Azeri foaled a chestnut Giant's Causeway filly last Saturday, according to an announcement by Hill 'n' Dale Farms.

The Allen E. Paulson Living Trust owns the 10-year-old Jade Hunter mare and boards her at Hill 'n' Dale. Azeri, who was Horse of the Year in 2002 and champion older mare from 2002 to 2004, has had only one other foal. That was an A. P. Indy colt, now a yearling, who is unnamed.

Azeri will be bred back to 2004 Horse of the Year Ghostzapper this year.
