A.V. Flynn remains unbeaten in Solano County Juvenile Filly

Chuck Dybdal|Jul 24, 2006

Heavily favored A.V. Flynn ($2.60), who set a track record in her debut at Pleasanton, improved her career record to 2-for-2 with an easy victory in the $53,150 Mick Freese Solano County Juvenile Filly Stakes on Sunday at the Solano County Fair in Vallejo.

She established an early lead and was never challenged in the 5-furlong (five one-half) race for 2-year-old Cal-bred fillies. She defeated Fancy and Free by 4 (four three-quarters) lengths in 1:05.54. Fancy and Free was bumped hard by Roar's Rockette at the start but was easily second, four lengths in front of Queen Clytemnestra.

Owned by For The Boys Stable and trained by Steve Miyadi, A.V. Flynn earned $29,750 to lift her career earnings to $37,600.
