Autograph session to benefit cancer research

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Trainer Todd Pletcher and jockey Javier Castellano will sign autographs at Saratoga on Sunday from 11 a.m. to noon, with voluntary donations made by patrons given to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which funds research to find cures for childhood cancers.

Those who donate will receive an autographed hat, poster, or T-shirt donated by Ed Stanco, the owner of Princess of Sylmar, with all proceeds going to St. Baldrick’s.

“I have always thought Princess of Sylmar is a blessing and gift to be shared,” Stanco said in a press release. “St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a true miracle, and I am appreciative that the Princess is able to contribute to the race for a cure for childhood cancer.”

The event will be held at the Jockey’s Silks Room porch.
