Australia: Two Aye's closing style could help her in Monday handicap
The lightly raced Australian filly Two Aye has developed a sharp closing style that could lead to a career with multiple wins.
Two Aye, who starts in a handicap at 7 1/2 furlongs at Kembla Grange Racecourse on Monday evening, closed well to beat maidens as the 1-2 favorite at Goulburn Racecourse on May 26 in her third start.
In her debut against winners, Two Aye closed from 12th in a field of 13 to finish third by a length in a handicap at 7 1/2 furlongs at Hawkesbury on June 11. Two Aye broke slowly at Hawkesbury and made up more than nine lengths through the stretch.

At Kembla Grange, Two Aye is part of a field of 13 and is rated as a leading contender along with Treize and Decimus.
Treize, a 3-year-old filly, faces winner for the first time on Monday evening. She won her most recent start against maidens at seven furlongs at Kembla Grange on June 17 and has a quick turnaround for this race.
Treize tends to run closer to the pace than Two Aye, which could make Treize a tough rival to catch in the final furlong.
Decimus, a maiden winner in a one-mile race at Kembla Grange on May 13, tends to run closer to the front. Decimus has started once against winners, finishing second by a half-length in the same race as Two Aye at Hawkesbury.
Decimus, who has started eight times, is quick enough to lead and could be joined in that capacity by the unreliable gelding Satness, who has won once in 28 starts. Decimus has a tendency to race near the front and fade, a style that may not lead to a win at Kembla Grange, but could result in a placing.
Kembla Grange has a seven-race program beginning at 10:45 p.m. Eastern or 7:45 p.m. Pacific. Wagering is available through DRFBets.com.
