Australia: Three have chance to extend unbeaten records.
The fillies Smooth Sailing and Sumptuary and the gelding Cable Tie had perfect starts to their careers earlier this year, winning maiden races for sprinters in Australia.
All three have been given a logical assignment to a start in a six-furlong handicap at Gosford Racecourse on Monday evening for their second races.
All three have a chance to extend their unbeaten records.
Smooth Sailing was the 5-2 favorite in early betting on Sunday, a slight choice over Sumptuary at 7-2. Cable Tie was relatively ignored in the field of nine at 11-1.

Smooth Sailing, trained by Mark Newnham, won a handicap at 5 1/2 furlongs against fillies and mares at Nowra Racecourse on Feb. 12. Smooth Sailing closed from fifth in a field of eight to win by 1 1/2 lengths.
Sumptuary was given a more aggressive ride when she won a maiden race at five furlongs at Muswellbrook on Jan. 16. She was third of seven early and took the lead in the final furlong en route to a win by slightly more than a length.
Cable Tie had a similar tracking trip when he won a maiden race at 5 1/2 furlongs at Hawkesbury Racecourse on Feb. 14 as an 11-1 chance.
Cable Tie starts from post 7 and may have a slight edge with the draw considering his stalking style. Sumptuary and Smooth Sailing start in posts 2 and 3, which will require jockeys Tyler Schiller and Tom Sherry to find clean trips.
The three recent maiden-race winners will face a challenge from Hamaki, who won a maiden race in his ninth start at 5 1/2 furlongs at Hawkesbury on Dec. 15, and has since finished fifth, second and seventh in handicaps against winners. The second-place finish, in a six-furlong race at Wyong on Jan. 18, was at same class level as this race at Gosford.
Hamaki raced against a slightly higher class level when he finished seventh of 12 in a six-furlong handicap for male horses at Newcastle on Feb. 11, losing by 2 2/3 lengths.
Hamaki is quick enough to race near the front, and will be pressed by the recent maiden race winners in the final furlong.
Gosford has a seven-race program beginning at 9:50 p.m. Eastern or 6:50 p.m. Pacific. Wagering is available through DRFBets.com.
